Alaska Day (A-day) -1 1/2

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here is a picture (a poor picture, but the best I could do) of the trip. It is very hard to find a map that can be copied and drawn on and blogged. The cities on this map are mostly state or provincial capitols, so Whitehorse, YT, is the only capitol we will visit. I really can't figure out the pattern of the cities on this map. I know Lubbock should be there but why Austin and not Houston or Dallas? Anyway, the Yellow line is outbbound from Longview, TX to Seattle by air and then to Homer, AK, by RV. The Blue line is the return from Homer to Anchorage and then the flight back to Longview.

You are a smart person or you wouldn't be reading this blog. So just use your imagination for the actual highways we will be driving and cities that we will be visiting.
