We splurged on a room at the beautiful Talkeetna Alaska Lodge for the night. We hoped to see Mt. McKinley as we have never seen it even though we've spent nearly a week in the area on two different trips. They say it is only seen by about 30% of visitors. The lodge is very nice and the views are spectacular.
