Driving north to Jasper, we stopped at the the Columbia Ice Field. This is the Athabasca Glacier.The distance is about 2 miles from the parking lot where the picture was taken.The little rectangular thingy in the lower left corner of the glacier is a whole BUS! That gives you some idea of the scale of this thing. Anne and Doug stayed with the RV's and Sue and I got on the tour of the glacier.
